Michael E Maus

Michael was a graduate of Ohio State University obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. He then proudly served in the Army during Vietnam, where he learned several languages. Michael was an avid outdoorsmen enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and bird watching. Spending time with his grandchildren brought much joy to his heart.

Michael is survived by son Ted (Dani) Maus; daughter Lisa (Joe) Wood; son Rolf (Amber) DePyper; daughter Christy DePyper; daughter Jocelyne Haapala; daughter Tylene Smith; daughter Bobbie Jean(Adam) DePyper; and daughter Kelly Childers; sister Sherry (Shel) Larkby and brother Doug Maus.

Michael was preceded in death by son Michael Maus and granddaughter Ilene Smith; parents Dorothy and Erwin Maus.

24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

According to his wishes cremation has taken place and burial will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI at a later date.
