AUSTIN – Patricia Ann Austin, age 89, of Lake Odessa, MI passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, MI. She was born February 1, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Hands. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Austin; sons Robert Austin and Jeff Austin; her faithful dog and companion, Missy. She is survived by her children Nancy (Roger) Underwood of Auburn, IN, Sharon Austin of Lansing, MI, Daniel Austin of Lake Odessa and Bill (Denise) Austin of Woodland; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother Tom Hands of Lansing; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Koops Funeral Chapel, 935 4th Ave., Lake Odessa, MI, with interment at Lakeside Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, March 27, 2017 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.
