

Ray was an amazing athlete excelling in football, basketball, baseball, boxing and golf. He was a 4 letter athlete, graduating from Sexton HS in 1945. He was inducted into Sexton Hall of Fame in 2014. He served in the Navy during WWII. After the war, he started working at Speaker, Hines and Thomas and retired in 1985 after 40 years. He was a huge U of M fan, a feisty man, whose bark was usually bigger than his bite. He embraced his Lebanese heritage and had a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his son, Eddie. Survivors include the love of his life, Grace whom he married on 6/30/1957; sons Jeff (Shelly), Ray (Shelley), 6 grandchildren, Sister Gloria and many family and friends. His grandkids were everything to him and he will be missed dearly.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 30th at 11:00 am at St. David’s Church, 1519 Elmwood Road, Lansing MI 48917. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, Ada.
