Richard "Dick" Nehmer, age 82, of Lake Odessa passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. Richard was born November 29, 1938 to Frederick and Esther (Schuberg) Nehmer in Big Rapids, MI. Dick worked for 30 years for GM in Lansing. In retirement he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and hunting. The family will miss how he made us laugh with his sense of humor. Dick had a huge heart and was always there for everyone.
Dick will be dearly missed by: his wife of 63 years Nancy, children; Patty (Randy) Lloyd, Mike (Diana) Nehmer, Debbie (Troy) VanAlstine, grandchildren Scott (Chris) Mathe, Tricia Mathe, Sarah (Jason) Bennett, Austin Davis, Avery Davis, Gage VanAlstine, Madalyn VanAlstine, Doug McKeown, Shanda Marie, 6 great-grandchildren, brother Tom (JoeAnn) Nehmer, Sandra Bolles,along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents Frederick and Esther, siblings Marge Peterson, Jim Nehmer.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and private Celebration will be held at a later date.
