Thomas Contreras, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Railside Assisted Living in Byron Center, MI. Thomas was born on June 10, 1933 to Joseph and Carmen (Arellan) Contreras in Shepard, MI. He was a self taught man and retired from GM. Thomas never met a stranger, he made friends easily. The family will miss his generous heart, joyful spirit, and playful nature.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; Children Lisa, Debra, and Mark, grandchildren Anthony and Christopher, and former spouse Diane.
Preceding Thomas in death are; his parents, wife Barbara, and 16 siblings.
Services are planned for August 13, 2024 at Koops Funeral Chapel; viewing at 11am, service at 12 Noon. After service, refreshments will be served. Burial will take place privately at Lakeside Cemetery.
