Warren Courtney, a devoted and beloved individual, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on April 29, 1935, Warren was known for his faithful and hard-working nature, as well as his honest character.
Warren dedicated 35 years of his career to working at Oldsmobile in Lansing, where his commitment and diligence were highly regarded.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Kelly) Courtney and Joe Courtney, and his daughter-in-law, Libby Courtney. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Dustin (Emily Goodemoot) Courtney, Cassidy (Dennis) Kilmartin, Nick (Jennifer) Courtney, Emily Courtney, Jennifer Baxter, Stacy Miller, along with nine great-grandchildren. Warren is also survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Courtney, and his nephew, Charlie Courtney. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved first wife Peggy, wife Marilyn Leslie, Mason Bret Courtney, his brother George Courtney and special friend Joyce Stark.
Warren was a family man through and through, always present at his children’s and grandchildren's sporting events and never missing a game on television if he could help it. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and especially loved playing golf.
Warren Courtney's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to family and work, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
