I met Adrian my freshman year of high school while he was in his senior year at Jupiter High School.  We had gym together, and he was one of the first new friend i made in high school. I remember playing basketball with him and a few of our other friends every day that whole year, and we always had a blast playing basketball. I watched him make eleven 3 point shots in a row during basketball tryouts, and he had a jumpshot better than anyone i had ever met. When we ran from JHS to a nearby bridge as part of basketball tryouts, I was dead tired and ready to just walk back, but Adrian kept pushing me to keep going and we both made it back in time. Adrian was truly one of the nicest and most humble people i have ever met, and I am happy to of had the priviledge of knowing him. 

I was one of Adrian's teachers.  I had him as a sophomore at Jupiter High.   He was in my Geometry class.  He sat in the first row, third seat back.  It's funny I remember exactly where he sat. I also remember how kind and resectful Adrian was to me and others in his class.  I write this to you, his parents:  you did a truly remarkable job of rasing him.  I read your message and all the memories you shared.  It touched my soul, especially the part where you taught him to do ten kind things a day until it became a habit.  Tonight, I got out my Jupiter High School yearbook from 2015, found Adrian's picture and shared your story (and his) with my own young daughter who is just 12 and embarking on her own jounrney into adulthood.  I told her how much your story touched me.  We decided to incorporate doing ten kind things for others into our daily lives and make it our own ritual. I read aloud every word you wrote about Adrian, his love for Jesus, his love of the Bible, and his empathy for others.  Thank you so much for sharing your story.  During these trying times, your message brought joy to me. I will always remember Adiran's smile.  I feel blessed to have known him.

I had the privilage of teaching Adrian at JHS.  It seems a short time ago, he was sitting in my algebra 2 class.  I can still visualize him sitting at the front of the class with is beautiful smile.  He was the most well-mannered student.  Although he was quiet, he always offered a morning greeting, held the door for others, and responded to his peers with such kindness.   I'm deeply sorry to hear of his loss.  He was a gift to so many.  My heart goes out to each of you.

I am very sadden to hear of Adrian's passing.  I had the fortune of teaching Adrian math while he was in middle school.  What made Adrian so special was not during that time, but after.  I transferred to Jupiter High and ran into Adrian almost immediately! It was so nice to see a familiar face. We had a good time catching up.  After that, I would see him occasionally as he passed my room and he always had a smile and stopped to say hi.  My last memory of seeing Adrian was right before graduation and he was so happy and proud and excited. He will always have a soft spot in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all that loved him.

I remember finding out John's son was attending Seminole Ridge, as I had worked with him at JIL.   I would often see him in the halls and make sure he was doing well.   He was very quiet as a freshman at least in front of adults.  I am shocked and saddened to hear of this news. May you find strength as a family to heal.   

Adrian was in my 9th grade English class at Seminole Ridge and he was such a sweet soul.  Always respectful and always quick to smile. For a teacher, it's such a gift to have a student paying attention in class when it seems like no one else is. He was that student. That's why I still remember him so clearly today. He was that one face among the multitudes hanging in there, listening, nodding his head in agreement or laughing at one of my goofy teacher jokes. He was quiet - not a big talker - but I remember that he was excited to be in the 2014 Lip Dub with the TV Production crew. He was especially happy and proud to be on the basketball team. In the 2014  yearbook, he stood in the team picture, tallest one on the team, with the biggest smile. Adrian's light is still bright; it's clear from all these messages that people can still see it shining.

To all of Adrian's family, 
I did not personally know your son at Seminole Ridge HS during his freshman year but I am confident that he brightened each classroom as a HAWK that year. His smile is radiant and I hope you will keep his memory alive by sharing his stories while with you all.  Thank you for sharing who your son was in the letters, how beautiful! May God keep you close together and many prayers of strength for each of you. Many condolences for your entire family.

You were always a great friend, time and time again we were brought back in contact after years of not talking and I can only wish that we had more time to hang out together. I'll never forget the amazing times we had in middle school messing around in reading class, Me you and Jarrett would always find ways to have fun and bend the rules without them breaking. Again at Grad bash when we ran into each other, when I had lost my group, finding you and yours made everything a little better, at Jcp when I was having a bad day you were just there and I loved the small conversation that we were able to have. It's crazy to think that you're gone now, its only a few months since we last talked. You were always a beautiful soul and I know the sky's going to be shining a bit brighter since you're up there with the other stars. I know you're at peace and I know you'll be one to welcome old friends at the gates once the time comes. You were, are, and always will be loved.

Life will never be the same without you. You must know how incredibly much you are missed. The house, the yard, the snacks in the pantry, the shoes, every where I look I'm flooded with memories of you. I try so hard not to cry but I know it will get better over time.
We never knew the plan and I think it caught us all off guard because we wanted you to be around longer than any of us. You were the generation of grandkids, young and growing. 
I've watched  you grow from this cute little boy, to this handsome young man.
I'd never forget our talks, small things we worked on together, how you were open for advice and listened thoughtfully. How we practiced driving. The chores, the laughs. How you'd always ask for your phone charger or headphones because they were misplaced. What I miss most is how you'd leave the house to go out, but never really left because you'd come back in for some last minute items.
I love that your favorite color is purple and that you love God above everything else.
I'm sorry we couldn't make it inside the hospital with you. Covid-19 turned the world upside down. Just know your family stood outside those doors to be by your side.
Adrian you emanate goodness, your smile, kindness to others, spreading the word of God. You are so blessed. Funny how we never realize what's in front of us till it's too late. I just thought we'd have so much time. Time... the one thing we are never truly sure of. 
I've adopted a few changes in my lifestyle I've attributed to you: praying before meals, looking at bugs differently, doing something nice everyday for others and the most important was reading the Bible together with Nikki. I know we talked about doing it together and just never got to it. Thank you so much Adrian for all the time you gave to me and I will always remember the last words you told me "God is always stronger than anything that is thrown at us by the enemy..."

Adrian prayed before every single meal, even when we would all be sitting at the table starting to dig in. We would see him and stop, put our hands together, and finish the prayer with him.

Adrian took about an hour and a half to get ready prior to leaving the house. I remember I’d throw on jeans and a shirt, not even brush my hair, and be waiting in the car like “what is taking him so long??” Meanwhile he’s slicking back his hair or trying to find shoes that match his outfit. Always, ALWAYS was the last one out the door even in a family of women!!

Adrian used to spend hours in the sun playing basketball. He loved it so much we ended up getting him a basketball hoop for the house so he can play here in the yard. At some point every day you’d hear the thump thump thump of the ball and eventually he’d walk in dripping sweat and we’d always point him straight to the shower and wouldn’t even let him sit on the sofa until he was clean.

Adrian could drink a gallon of juice a DAY if he felt like it. I’ve never seen someone consume so much juice in my life.

Adrian was my first friend. He was my cousin, so he had to be around me, but he didn’t have to play sailor moon dolls or ride in the Barbie Jeep. He didn’t have to play dress up or put on shows with me. Adrian JJ and I used to always play video games, mostly Mario kart and teen titans on the GameCube but Adrian had a special love for the legend of Zelda. Eventually we all grew up but that doesn’t change the love we have for each other.

I met Adrian in a class we had together at Jupiter High School. I was a transfer from NJ to there, I believe, his Sophomore year. We had fun in that class... (I might’ve made him have a little too much fun). We reunited back when I saw him at Palm Beach State College. I was so excited to see him. I said “Bergruuud!” and he had the brightest yet humblest smile on his face. Like everyone else he came in touch with, he blessed those with his smile. When we saw each other, it would generally be a brief moment excited to see one another. We would have plenty of these at our times at PBSC. It would always be a highlight of my day seeing him around campus with his big Crucifix necklace and even bigger smile. Adrian was and is an inspiration to people to leave a memorable impact on everyone one meets. I always admired his Christian devotion and look forward to seeing that smile again someday...

It came as a great shock to learn of Adrian’s passing. I had known him while he was still a young lad when I worked in FL from 2012 to 2014. It was great to reconnect with cousin Jillian then and to find out that she had had a son who was a pleasure to meet — easy going, friendly, cheerful; a blessed fellow by all accounts and with an impressive array of basketball shoes! So it was that I was very sad for days when the news came. I could not make sense of it. It had to be explained to me from all he held dear that there was a plan for him. And so it was by reading about him from his friends, other relatives, particularly his mom, as well as by learning more about his beliefs, that I have grudgingly come to accept that his being taken away at such an early time is part of a bigger picture in the grand scheme of things. Adrian will always shine a light wherever he is and that is great.

John and Jill,
Please know that you are, and will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I was fortunate enough to be a part of your son's life for about 6 years and was able to see for myself everything spoken about him.  He was Kind, Loving, Respectful, Obedient, Easy Going and always concerned of not hurting others. All the qualities you would ask for in a son. I call you both Blessed. 
We will never know why God called Adrian home so early in life, but one thing we can be sure of and that is that God always has His children's best interest at heart.  That is why I choose not to question Him. 
Although funerals are sad events and they can tear at your very soul, I could feel the Peace and Love of God in every corner of the room.  By the stories shared by family and friends you were given the assurance that Adrian M. Bergrud was the hands and feet of Jesus here on earth.  You also had the assurance that he didn't die because he had already been given eternal life by his Heavenly Father.  The moment his work here on earth came to an end, you just knew that he had started his heavenly work.  He taught everyone that knew him what Real Love Is.  I know that he will live on through many of us.  Adrian's home going reminds me of Enoch from the bible.  In Genesis 5:24 it says, Enoch walked faithfully with God, then he was no more, because God took him away.  I believe Adrian walked faithfully with God and God called him home.  
He will always be remembered as an angel of God here on earth.
May we all learn to Love with God's kind of Love. 

Adrian, was my first grandson. We held an  undying bond.  He taught me to love Jesus and be kind to others. He felt deeply about the feelings of his family,  friends and co-workers. 
From his early childhood, Adrian  began  demonstrating  a passionate love for God.  He clearly showed his  priority was to serve the Lord.
  Adrian was gentle, kind, compassionate, forgiving and could not bring himself to hurt the smallest insect. I loved the quiet times we spent together and the trust he had in me for guidance.  Adrian eyes sparkled when he spoke about his mom and dad, his love for them was overwhelming.  He was so filled with love.  He adored his friends and kept them in constant contact.  Adrian, I would miss your contagious smile, your prayers before meals and your voice calling "Gran!"

I remember doing basketball tryouts my sophomore year of high school with Adrian. I didn't know him at all, I was a little intimidated by him at first. With his tall demeanor and dark hair around the eyes. However, I will never forget the way he picked me up from the ground after puking from dehydration and exhaustion. Minute by minute people are dropping and vomiting from being out of shape and in the florida heat. When Adrian extended his hand to me he told me "you've got this". I didn't want to believe him, I just wanted to stay on the ground. But Adrian pushed me, because he believed in me even when I couldn't. 

John,

I cannot begin to fathom what you are going through right now. Adrian is such a beautiful person and soul. I wish I could have gotten to see Adrian mature into the awesome God fearing man he became - I remember him being just the sweetest child. You can take solace in the fact that he is in a better place and he would not want you or anybody else to suffer. He is looking down on you with so much love and care.

            Silly, spirited, energetic, loving, easy to talk to, and helpful to all. Serious conversation wasn’t had between him and I at work; which kept me happy, entertained And i was never bored. 

             Adrian and I hosted together at Olive Garden. He was a major team player and respected by everyone. 

               Blessed was his most commonly used word. He was blessed to grow up being a positive soul. I was blessed knowing him. 

              Adrian’s memory will live on in many peoples Hearts and thoughts.  Spiritually he will be everywhere... every time i Hear or see the word blessed, the site of his favorite color Purple, and when i hear or see something funny that i know he’d laugh at. 

             Life was brighter simply having the pleasure of meeting Adrian Bergrud. Rest peacefully.

Although I only met Adrian once, he impressed me because of his devout faith in Jesus. Further  hearing of him revealed he was an angel too.

When I first met Adrian, he seemed stoic. He taught me what the word “mean-mugging” means; it means having a serious face. Little did I know that his personality was quite the opposite. 

He rode my bus every single day when he was a senior in High School. Adrian was very open to talking with strangers and made friends easily in school. My friend Jose, Adrian, and I often hung out after school. I recall sweaty days with amazing conversations that lasted over an hour. He was a funny and genuine person. His love of God was pure and he practiced what he believed in. 

We formed a great friendship that led to a romance. I even gave him a long Valentine’s Day card. We often walked at night, looking at the stars and thinking about life. I will never forget those conversations. A funny memory was when he let me straighten his hair, much to his protest. 

Although it didn’t work out, Adrian was always supportive and patient. We remained friends afterwards, even if we  drifted apart somewhat. I do remember his mother taking a wonderful picture of Adrian and I on his High School graduation. 

Not only that, but he never missed a chance to greet me in the hallways of Palm Beach State College. Adrian would also greet my mother as well, despite her limited English. 

I hope that he’s found happiness and I wish all my condolences to his family. He was a great person with genuine friends who cared for him. 

To Jillian and Hans. Be strong in the lord today. May he bless you both and give you comfort in knowing Adrian is in his care now. God bless the all loving father. Amen.

Words can't express how kind Adrian was to the people around him. I was just a freshman in Jupiter high-school when I met Adrian and his welcoming presence and down to earth attitude always made me enjoy spending my time with him. Even all the way up to college in Palm Beach State Adrian took the time to be there to say the occasional hi or even sit back to talk to me about all the time we spent together having fun and talking about life. I know Adrian will make it to heaven and I just want to say to both Mr. and Mrs. Bergrud you raised a wonderful son who made a impact in so many people's lives. I hope and pray for his safe journey and God bless. 

When Christina and I were kids, I remember going to her house to play, and I remember it being so much fun playing with Adrian and Jason too. We would run wild and play games in the yard, and eat fresh baked bread together. Warm memories were made with this family, Adrian was kind, considerate, and a blessing to those around him,  he will be so missed.

Glad you are in heaven bro, me and Johnny always roasted you for the ball4jesus but now you really can ball with him. You was as real as can be, no matter how often we joked you're fake, hope to see you again bro, so many memories with you.

John, I am so very sorry for your loss.  I did not know Adrian, but from reading these many  wonderful comments, it is easy to see he was an awesome  young man. I hope your many cherished memories will comfort you through this very difficult time. My deepest condolences to you and your family.  

By spending many family functions with Jordan and the family, Adrian was always there. He was the only cousin who was our age, so we always sat with each other during Thanksgiving meals. My favorite memory with Adrian was when he was pretending to be our photographer, and took pictures of Jordan and I. Of course, we had to switch roles and take pictures of him! Looking through these photos from Thanksgiving, makes me appreciate the moments spent with him. Specifically, when I took a picture of Adrian and Jordan, and Adrian was telling him to keep a straight face like him and he just couldn’t do it. We laughed about it for so long after looking at the outcome! Adrian was always so kind and caring, and always made sure to ask me how I was doing. He will be deeply missed, but will do great things in heaven. We love you Adrian!

Adrian is the best , most awesome child a parent could ask for.  He was never a  problem growing up, he was always so well behaved, well mannered, and he  respected everyone.  Adrian would address a male adult as Sir and a female adult as Ma'am. He loved his life with Jesus as his wingman, nature, animals , basketball and above all God.  Adrian was full of positive thoughts, he was very silly at times and loved to play little pranks, he would help anyone in need ,and spread the word of God, but not in a menacing way.  He was truly an amazing Human Being and as his mother I could not ask for a better child!!!! He will always  be my modern day Jesus.  Adrian emulated Jesus in his every day actions. He preached to people via phone,  and in person and in cars. He helped people through depression and suicide and showed every one their inner beauty. He was flawless in so many ways. I love you soooo much my little Froggy. Mommy will miss you very much Son, but I know we will be together again someday! Bless all you have touched!

John, I am deeply saddened by your lost. I met your beautiful son a few times during faculty meetings and short days at JIL. I always remember seen a kid that look up to you and show the love he had for you. I also remember how you were always excited about those days of the week you will spend with him. Adrian was blessed to have you as a Dad and you were blessed with him as a son. My deepest condolences to all your family. 

Adrian  was a gift from God. Hans was so fortunate when he married Jillian to have had this wonderful  child in his life.  He brought us so much happiness and joy. I can’t imagine how glorious It must be for the  souls in heaven to greet him. 

Adrian has changed my life forever. I was taught more by this amazing 21 year old young man, than everything I thought I learned in 55 years! Although I never met Adrian, I have heard wonderful things about him through Jordan. In fact, Jordan and Alexis just recently shared the pictures Adrian was taking with them this past Thanksgiving.  I could see the love of family through the many pictures of the Bergrud and extended families.  While it is difficult to think about how life will go on, family, friends, and faith will hopefully help lift your spirits.

I taught Adrian his senior year at JHS.  No matter what was going on, Adrian was always so positive and so respectful.  Even if the bell rang and everyone was rushing out the door, he would always make sure to thank me for the lesson and tell me to have a good day.  There are not many students like that anymore, but Adrian was one of the good ones for sure.  He stuck with me since his graduation because of how polite and positive he always was.  Adrian will be missed, but always remembered.

I remember Adrian coming to John I Leonard High school with his dad for "Take Your Child to Work Day."  I remember him being a polite and quiet young man.  I could never resist the urge to call him Adrian (in my Rocky voice).  Rest in Peace.

I am sorry about Adrian's passing. While reading the tributes of family and friends about your son, I felt sad and emotional. I felt that he has left good and happy memories from the people he encountered.

I’ve known him for a year. He was one of the first people to introduce himself to me when I started working at Olive Garden. He immediately treated me with respect and as if he’s known me for months. That’s just who he was, a kind, charismatic and gentle soul who cared for anyone that he came across. My favorite thing about him was that anytime I asked how he was doing he’d always respond “I’m blessed.” As a fellow Christian I loved his passion for God and we shared some very deep and personal stories revolving our faith, our personal lives and struggles. I took him home quite a few times and each time was genuinely a great experience. A simple car ride turned into this new way for us to bond as friends. In one of our last rides together he told me that he saw me as a brother, someone he could trust and come to for anything. If I’m honest that made me tear up just thinking about it because he truly meant what he said. He really was a true friend. I regret not spending more time with him, talking to him and being there for him. I regret not taking photos and videos to share my memories with him but at least I’ll always remember how he treated me and others. I’ll always remember our incredible conversations, the moments where he made me cry of laughter, and our incredibly epic handshakes that blew out everyones eardrums. I’m not explaining this but he would call me Sausage and I’d call him Noodle at the beginning and end of every shift. Please don’t ask what it all meant, at this point i don’t even know if we knew what it meant. Honestly he was simply a great friend. Humble in every aspect, respectful in every way, kindness and love in every word. Thanks Adrian for comforting me in my pain, for trusting me with your struggles, for finding my phone that I lost in the bathroom, for helping me serve my tables, for paying for my gas whenever I took you home, for making me laugh, for making me trust in you, for allowing me to be open to a true friend again. I’ll miss you 

From the short time I met Adrien I knew how much of a good person he was. I met him at work and he kept me laughing and found a way to brighten up my mood every shift we worked together.  Such a sweet person and always looking out for others making sure they were good. I know he is “blessed “ as he always would say and with God.

The last time I saw him was when we celebrated his birthday, he was so full of fun and positivity that radiated with his presence. When I heard the news my heart ached. I only wish he could continue spreading his fun and positivity.

I’m really going to miss asking  you how you’re doing.  You would always say “you know me, I’m blessed” And Adrian I wish now I could’ve told you that we are the blessed ones, blessed to have known such a beautiful person inside and out. Man you made us laugh when we were having a stressful shift, never complained on giving us a helping hand. We will never stop saying your name! We will always remember the good times we had with you! We love you always 💜 say hi to Kobe for me.

Adrian was always a joy to work with, he had no problem dropping what ever he was doing to get you out of the weeds. Always caring for others before himself and always giving out positive energy and making a stressful situation into a happy one. I’m going to miss going home from work and not seeing random videos or photos from you that you did while I wasn’t looking. Adrian, you knew the conversations we had and what we talked about. Some of  the best memories I’ve had with you was when I first went to your house & you kept telling Hans I wanted the WiFi password and I kept getting embarrassed. Almost everyday after school we would walk from the school to your house to play basketball. I would be like “show me Kobe, and sometimes you would miss and then say “dis man” I remember you’re mom would always call me everything but my name, TJ, Deandre, T’andre & you told her his name is Dre 😂. We had some bad fights too but we always said it made our brotherhood stronger. I’m really glad that you got the gift I gave you before you went on to glory. It was so funny teaching you how to drive I was nervous but I wasn’t about to let you know that 😂. But the best memory we had was 2020, the spring break trip we took was so fun, went to the fair, we Steak ‘n Shake at 4 in the morning, we went to that trampoline place too. But the reason we got along the most was because of God. We loved talking about him and his word & I’m really glad you got to come to my church. My parents loved you & your spirit. I remember telling you the whole church said you looked like Jesus when you walked in 😂. Thank you for all the greatest memories you gave me I could never forget you. I’ll end this with what we always said to each other. “We’re always gonna be brothers” I love you bro 💜

Wow, this is hard to believe, when I first met Adrian it was at forever 21, I just started working there and he helped me adjust to the job. He was a good, and caring friend, you can always go to him if you needed help. It’s sad to see him go. May he Rest In Peace 🙏🏾

Where do I start.. you are the most amazing person I know. You always knew how to put a smile on my face and how to get me up when I was down. I’ve known you since freshman year and after senior year when we were together, you thought me a lot of things that I will always hold in my life. 1. Love yourself no matter what ,2. Be silly and laugh because smiling is the best medicine,  3. Never say goodbye,  It’s always see you soon. Even though we never ended up together at the end, we ended as friends with a tight bond. I knew Adrian when he was a freshmen he was a funny kid and we grew to know each other better. After that school year found out he wasn’t going to Seminole anymore I was bummed out. Even after he went to a new school we kept in contact always talking and laughing and I’m great full to have know an amazing kindred soul as him. You will be missed my guy my the heavens sooth your pain and to be free. 

Adrian, when I think of you I think of the selflessness and overflowing joy you carried with you in all aspects of your daily life. Whenever I asked for your help at work, even if you had 5 different things going on you dropped what you were doing and you would go out of your way to make sure that my needs were met and I’m doing so it brought a smile to your face. You did this with every person whether you were fond of them or barely knew them at all. You are the definition of a cup running over with joy as you were a man with an infectious smile and every time I was with you I couldn’t help but laugh. I remember when we would take the name embroiders for the name tags and place silly names all over the restaurant and on people’s backs. I also have to ask forgiveness for never making it to play basketball with you, which is something I now regret, however I do know that you are a child of God and I will see you again one day. Galatians 5: 22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” You exhibited all of these qualities and more and I could only hope to live out the rest of my days with the character that you had. Love you, miss you , and I’ll see you again friend.  

I only knew Adrain for one year, and in the year that I got to know him, he was a kind-hearted person who always help you no matter what. He would always enter work with a smile, brightening people's day. He had a way with people, when it comes to cherishing friendships, putting others first before him. Although it's difficult  today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

When i met you in EOC  retakes over the summer 5 years ago I never thought you would be such a good and kind friend we didn’t even go to the same school but I consider you one of my greatest friends. When we caught back up at college you made my experience exponentially better rip bro you will be forever missed

My favorite memory of Adrian is when my oldest daughter Sara, brought him home for the first time to meet me. At first I was kind of confused because my baby Sara knows how overprotective I’m about her! Every time my Sara talked about him her eyes lit up, that’s how I know it was real love. She would stay up all night on the phone with him and away from home. I will have to call Adrian looking for her and tell him to tell her to get home, remind you this is at 2:30 in the morning. Another memory I have is when Sara&Adrian took multiple trips to Disney Springs, and just this last summer Sara went on her first cruise with Adrian. Adrian was a sweetheart and I couldn’t had ask for a better Son- in law for my daughter. I always would play pranks on him and answer  Sara phone and say Hi pumpkin that’s what she always called him and he would call her pumpkina. I know you are in heaven smiling down. We will miss you dearly and your memory will live on through all the photos and times Adrian and Sara asked for you to spend the night at my house, to spending time watching movies or Sara picking you up and y’all going to the movies and just having a good time. I will never forget how caring and attentive you were to Sara when she stayed at the hospital you never left her side. I was so hurt when you passed because my daughter was very upset and I couldn’t take her pain away. We prayed day and night for you to recover but God wanted his special angel up there with him. I know you are in Gods hands and may your soul always Rest In Peace. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 To the family.

I remember when we first met, I didn't know you, and you didn't know me, but we knew similar people. So whenever we'd see each other, we would just dap each other up and go about our business. It wasn't until much later that we actually sat down and had a genuine conversation that I realized that this man was and forever will be, not just my friend, but my brother. And more than anything, I wish I could dap you up one last time. Rest in peace brodie.

I remember Adrian as a cute and shy young boy, so loved by everyone, specially his father and family.  I am deeply saddened by what has happened, but it has brought me such comfort and joy to learn how God worked in and through his life as a young man- how he impacted the lives of so many.

I met Adrian a few years ago when he was in high school. He became friend with my son Malachi and they played basketball at my job the West jupiter Recreation center. A very respectful young man whenever he came into the building. He actually volunteered in the afterschool program and all the kids loved him. The boys always wanted to play games with him when he wa able to volunteer.

Adrian was a beautiful soul who was taken to earlier. I remember at times whenever I was at my lows he would luckily be their to spread positivity and his words of encouragement. He will be missed and always in my prayers. 

You were like my son and oh how I loved you like you were. You send me an inspirational text message every morning when you wake up. You made sure I text you when I leave my house n when I reached back home.  I used to love to cook n make sure you got your dinner. We both loved calypso and your favorite artist(Machel). I will cherish every moments that u were around. I will miss hearing your laughs and coming home from work n seeing you on FaceTime with Zee n reaching over to wave at you. You always tell me thanks for raising a beautiful daughter just for you but I think we were the lucky ones that were blessed with you in our lives. Oh Adrian my son I miss you every day. I know that God needed you there to help fight this war here on earth. I wish that we would’ve spent more time together n got to travel to Jamaica and Trinidad.   I promise to assist Zee to be there for your mom n dad because you were always there for me when Zee was away. You were such a peaceful n gentle soul that brought nothing but love to all that came across your path.  The first time I met you was the day that I knew you were God sent. You have pushed Zee to have a closer relationship with God. I appreciate the way that you love Zee and treated her so well. The love that you showed her were unexplainable. I thank your parents for raising such a remarkable young Man of God.  I love you and I will always miss you.

Babe.. My favorite memory would have to be when you first told me that you loved me on November 11th, 2019.. My initial thought when i heard those words was..”Oh my gosh.. you really just said that,” and I was absolutely over the moon, because i felt as if.. i had done something right and that God truly is on our side because he blessed me with YOU! But In all honesty, every moment that I’ve spent with you has been a gift, darling. I miss dropping whatever i’m doing just to answer the phone, while my mom laughs at me for being.. IN LOVE, I miss your uplifting words, your Handsome face, Charming smile and your Godly presence. I adore you, Duck.. but don’t worry about me, your Goose will be okay.. i love you

Adrian was a really special person. He is someone that I have never seen upset only good and high spirits. Something that I always acknowledged about him was if you asked him “How are you?” He would always respond with “You know me I’m blessed.” Every time, it never failed. I was never around him much other than work but still I was able to see such amazing characteristics in such a young person! He was always so ready to help everyone without even being asked and always making sure others were good before himself. He made every shift I worked with him so fun and full of light. And I know his light will live on forever! Everyone who had the honor of knowing him was blessed to have him apart of their lives and will always remember him. I know that I most definitely will not forget him. All I can hope and pray for is he is in a better place watching over all of us. I miss you Adrian, and love you! Your legacy will continue! 💜

Dear Adrian,

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you.  I think about the joy that you brought to people's lives and the smiles that you always found a way to put on everyone's face.  I will always remember you as the caring and genuine person that you were.  

I will also always remember one of our last conversations about Kobe Bryant and what he meant to you.  How you admired him for the legacy he left behind for how he handled himself both on and off the court.  Adrian, I am here to tell you that you will also leave a legacy behind.  A legacy of how to act and treat people every single day.  A legacy that I will do my best to keep burning bright.

      I remember when I first met Adrian when I was in elementary school. It was bring your child to work day, and the student aids were rounding up all the kids to go do an activity. Our parents classrooms were right next to eachother, so once the activity was finished we continued to play together.  We watched YouTube videos, played games on coolmath, and assisted my mother with passing things out sometimes. This became a tradition for the next few years until we eventually aged out of the program. 

     I remember Adrian being particularly good at “bloxorz”.  Even when Adrian, My sister and I were competing to see who could get to the highest level the quickest, Adrian would still stop what he was doing, and help us complete a level we were stuck on. Adrian was sweet like that. I’ve always admired and appreciated his kindness; his willingness to help people. 

      It saddens me to hear about Adrian’s passing.  He was so young, and had a very bright future ahead of him. But I would like to share a quote that helped me find a little comfort.

        “Aspire to Inspire, before you expire.” 

      Adrian was able to inspire me in many ways throughout the years. Even though we only saw eachother once a year for 8 hours, he taught me something new each and every time. I can only imagine the ways In which he inspired many others everyday of his life. Adrian will truly be missed. May God’s strength be with you and your families during this time of sorrow. 

  I always remember Adrian in being this happy young man...everyime i saw him at work he always had that smile that cause a chain reaction of happiness. I remember when we talked about basketball and i always joked around that i could beat him. lol when actually i knew there was no chance , i could win, but adrian always played along  and made me laugh ..Going to miss you Adrian and you will be severely Missed at work .

Always sweet and caring. A really good friend. Adrian would always walk over and say hi whenever he would see me, his jokes always made me laugh and I was endlessly inspired by his love and faith to God.
It’s really hard to think of him being gone, but he’ll never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Adrian when I was in my junior year in high school, he was one of the couple friends that I had at that time. I remember we used to sit on the back of Mrs. Kronkite’s class and just mess around with songs we both liked and taking funny pictures of each other. After thats year we used to say hi to each other wherever we saw each other. We met again at pbsc our first year, i remember we both started the same day and we had a class at the same hour so we spent the the first hour together before the class bc we both got there early and we didnt knew what to do. I that day I showed him a music beat that i had done, and I remember him being super supportive of it even though it probably wasnt that good. I also remember those first two years of college we used to go up and down everywhere, before class after class simply everywhere. Adrian was one of the best if not the best person I have ever met never did I hear him curse... not once. “Dis man” as he used to say was truly blessed with all the good qualities a good human being should possess, he was friendly without a limit, supportive like no one else, he had the ability to shine anyones day no matter what. Simply, a great person. Adrian, brother I will truly miss you. I know God has you in his grace because you were and still are special. Brother.., they dont make them like you anymore. Love you brother. 

I knew Adrian from highschool and college. His spirit was so pure and he had a heart of gold. He was truly an angel from above and we didn't deserve a soul like his. To the family, I know there is nothing that can make this any easier or make your pain go away but I pray for peace that surpasses all understanding and joy that overflows. He is in the presence of the Lord now and I know he is at peace. I love you Adrian. 

He was my best friend for some of the best years of my life. He always put me in a better mood and a smile on my face. I remember him asking me to the dance in middle school,  and walking to my house in the rain just to say hi and talk. I was so blessed to have had him in my life. 

You were taken too soon, all within God's will I am sure.  Your Grandparents will always remember the shy, skinny and lanky boy who grew to be such a handsome man.  We will also remember your love for God, Church and your family.  Rest in peace with all of our love,
