"There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. I know that everything God does will endure forever. Nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it." Ecclesiastes 3

As a young lad she later moved to Kingston Jamaica. There she was able to establish a well-known, local business that she managed for many years.
In Kingston Aunt Vera joined the Anglican Church where she was a faithful member to her church and her community.

In West Palm Beach, Florida, Ms. Vera joined the First Congressional Church in Lake Worth, Florida where she was a devoted member. Ms. Vera thoroughly enjoyed the great fellowship while attending church. She loved the Lord.
Aunt Vera enjoyed life. Most of Aunt Vera's life was spent nurturing her family and friends. She was a mother figure to all those who knew her well. She provided comfort through her many stories and generous hospitality. She could often be found feeding ones soul and stomach.
Aunt Vera will not be easily forgotten. She had a big and kind heart and left a lasting impression with everyone she met. Aunt Vera had a kindred spirit and never forgot her heritage and would always try to help others in need.
Although Aunt Vera was very sick she always had a positive outlook on life; notwithstanding the many difficulties that she sometimes faced, she never stopped giving praises to the Lord. Aunt Vera would often recite her favorite verse, "The Lord is my Shepard" Psalms 23. Leaning not, to her own understanding.
Aunt Vera answered her heavenly Father's call and "entered his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Psalms 100:4, on Monday April 27th, 2015.
