Beulah Tolbert Boyette passed away at the age 97; gaining her wings the morning of November 7th, 2023. She was reunited with many loved ones who preceded her in death. Beulah was born on September 19, 1926 in Octagon, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Joshua Tolbert, Annie Laura Tolbert-Huckabee and her daughter, Jenny. Beulah was one of eight children, all of which preceded her in death: Louise, Mary, Norma, Beulah’s twin sister Eula, Ann, Joseph and Marcella. She was blessed to bring comfort to several of her sisters along with many others as they left this life.
Beulah met William Cornell (Bill) Boyette while living in South Florida and they married in 1944. Bill died in July 1995. Together, they had 6 children: Earl, Donna, Becky, Jenny, Wendy and Candy. Beulah was a loving mother, a grandmother and a good friend to many.
As the smallest of her sisters most knew her as “Tiny” or “Aunt Tiny”. To her family; however, she was known as “Granny”. She will be remembered as having a kind and gentle spirit and an amazing memory. Granny was loved by all who knew her.
She leaves behind a legacy of 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts.
