Born in Indianola, Iowa, on December 30, 1950, Dianna was the beloved daughter of Madge and Gordon Eugene Burbank. She was wise beyond her years, showing compassion and character early on—often giving up her own lunch breaks at her first job at the Singer sewing factory to support her single mother.
Her family moved to Phoenix, AZ when Dianna was 5 years old. It was later on in Phoenix that she met her future husband Wayne. During that time Wayne was working with the deaf at the 1st Assembly of God Church. Together they moved to Springfield, Missouri. In Missouri they attended the Central Bible College. While attending the college Dianna found joy in music classes, where she shared her love for singing and playing instruments. The two were married the next summer on July 30, 1971, in Phoenix, Arizona, beginning a journey of faith, love, and lifelong partnership.
Dianna was a loving and patient mother who cherished reading, sewing, singing , and above all, her love of Jesus. She was a shining example of quiet strength and unwavering faith, passing on her deep love of God and the joy of music and literature to her daughter. She faithfully served for many years in the choir at Trinity Church International.
Professionally, Dianna was known for her kindness and excellence in customer care, earning recognition as the #1 sales associate at JCPenney stores in both Waterloo, Iowa, and Palm Beach, Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Keele; her daughter, Christina MacAllister; her grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan MacAllister and her great-granddaughter, Rosalie Grace MacAllister. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Burbank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Madge (1925–1990) and Gordon Burbank (1919–1985), and her sister, Janice Delene Wind (1947–2022).
A celebration of Dianna’s life will be held on Sat July 26th @ 4PM Trinity Church International, located at 7255 S Military Trail, Lake Worth, FL 33463.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness, the singing of a favorite hymn, or a donation to a charity of your choice in Dianna’s memory.
