For those who had the privilege of knowing Dianne, she will be most remembered for her warm and loving smile, kindness and caring heart.
When her son Eric joined the Marines, she wanted to make a difference and developed a passion for “Stars for Our Troops”, collecting old flags and spent hours turning the “Stars” into a “Thank You” for all military personnel who served our country and individually handing them out to each military member she might have encountered in her day to day activities.
She also volunteered her time with the yearly “Angel Walk” and fundraising events sponsored by the Bobby Resciniti Healing Hearts Foundation who provides help in the healing process for parents who are suffering from the loss of a child.
She was an avid “Red Sox” fan. Every year she would travel to Boston to attend a baseball game with her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Organization. At the age of 33, Susan G. Komen passed away from Breast Cancer. Before she died, she wanted to make a difference by helping women with cancer. You can read her story on this link www.komen.org/about-komen/our-mission/
