Age 95 of Greenacres, FL passed away February 6, 2021. Dorothy was born March 13, 1925 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas Fay and Doris Hall Kentner. She was a CNA who worked in the nursery at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center for 22 years. She later volunteered at JFK Hospital for 20 years. Dorothy took care of each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their preschool years. She is survived by her loving family: children, Patricia (Richard) Simms and Ron (Kim) Waldum; grandchildren: Clark (Patti), Tonya (Chris), Gina (Mike), Connor, Cassie and Cara; great grandchildren: Brittany (Tom), Kiley, Casey, C.J., Kaden, Kegan, Logan and Tyler; great great grandson, Beckham. Dorothy was preceded in death by: her husband, John Waldum on November 26, 2000; and grandmother, Ida Mae Kentner. The family will be holding services privately.
