Elizabeth S. Orr

Bette moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, with her family at an early age. She attended Central Elementary, Central Junior high and Palm Beach High Schools.

Prior to high school graduation, she began working for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph as

an operator.She continued to work for them in many different jobs until retirement in 1972.

During part of this time, while in her fifties, she attended Palm Beach Junior College earning an

AA degree in nursing. She met and married her husband in 1944 while she was in Miami

as a telephone operator and he was serving in the US Navy.

Bette was precedded in death by her parents and her three sisters - Luella Butler, Rita

Delebert and Helen Humphry. She is survived by her husband, Dean Orr; daughter Deane

Ugalde; son Stephen ( Linda) Orr, daughter Linda Orr; granddaughter Michelle ( Kris) Olsen; granddaughter Stacy (Francisco ) Rodriguez; grandson Brian Orr and a great granddaughter Eden Rodriguez.

Her family would like to take this time to thank her caregivers; Grace, Marie, Janine and

Carmela.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3rd, at the funeral home at 4:00 PM,

with internment to follow on Tuesday for the family. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you
