

A longtime resident of Fort Pierce, FL, Ellen devoted over 30 years to her career as a dental hygienist, primarily working for Dr. Robert Gehrig. She was known for her gentle care, warm smile, and genuine compassion for her patients, taking great pride in helping others maintain their smiles and confidence while forming lasting relationships throughout her career.
Ellen graduated from Ft. Pierce Central High School (Class of 71’), where she built lifelong friendships and cherished memories that she carried with her throughout her life.
With a vibrant and welcoming spirit, Ellen loved horseback riding and found joy in spending time outdoors. She was especially known for hosting holiday meals at her home, bringing family and friends together with warmth, laughter, and love. A true social butterfly, Ellen had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel loved and valued.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mary Earnhardt; her brother, Daniel Earnhardt; her sister, Melanie Slusser; her son, Brian Goldstein; and her husband, Bobby Goldstein.
Ellen is survived by her brother John Earnhardt (Gilberto), her devoted sons Jason Haffield (Casey) and Todd Goldstein, her cherished grandchildren Todd Jr., Scarlett, McKenzie, Austin, and Harper, along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor, share memories, and join us for a meaningful butterfly release as a tribute to her beautiful spirit on Sunday April 19th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Jaycee Park, Pavilion 4, Melaleuca Dr, Fort Pierce, FL 34949.
Ellen will be remembered for her gentle heart, love for family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
