Eric David Rodberg

Eric David Rodberg was born June 19, 1966, to Gladys and Arley Rodberg in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is the oldest of five children, Beth Ann, Barry, Michelle, and Kurt. After High School Eric worked several jobs, he went to the Firefighter’s Academy in West Palm Beach and worked as a Security Guard at AUTEC.

On August 10, 1996, he married Susan Rodberg who had a daughter, Kelsey Lin from a previous marriage. On September 9, 1999, they had a son, Karl Eric Rodberg. At that time Eric was studying to be an electrician and began his Apprenticeship with Current Connections. He worked as an electrician with the School District of Palm Beach County, until finding the job he loved as an Industrial Electrician with the South Florida Water Management District. What Eric loved most about his job was being able to work outside and enjoy the beautiful and exotic wildlife that Florida has to offer. He also loved solving technical problems and keeping everything running smoothly.

Eric loved to read, mostly Science Fiction books. He loved figuring out how to fix things: the dryer, the dishwasher, the car, the air conditioner, and anything else that needed to be fixed. He loved computers and could build a computer from second-hand parts. He was the first to offer to help anyone. He was always very friendly and happy to be around. He never complained.

Eric is survived by wife, Susan Rodberg, step-daughter, Kelsey Lin, and son, Karl Rodberg. He will forever live in their hearts.
