Devoe was born on August 26, 1947 in Peekskill, New York to Devola and Abraham Bassford.
Devoe spent most of his life in Palm Beach County attending Palm Beach Day School and Graduating Palm Beach High in 1965. He began his career after graduating from Pace University in 1969. He retired from Fidelity Federal after more than a 30 year banking career as a senior vice- president in the construction loan department. Devoe had a passion for music, especially the Beatles. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar for many years throughout his life.
Devoe is survived by his wife Diane DeSoto Bassford, son Matthew, son Christian, daughter Jill and two grandchildren Brook and Beau Bassford.
A visitation for F. will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 5pm to 6pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, followed by a prayer service at 6pm.
