

Gerry is survived by his wife, Margaret, of 63 years, and his four daughters, Julie Williams (Berry), Linda McLelland (Perry), Mary Jane Licata (Patrick), and Amy DeMarois (Dennis), nine grandchildren (Evan and Hillary McLelland, Aubrey and Emilie McKay, Abigail McLelland, Austin Licata, Eryn Licata, Ashlyn DeMarois, and Ava DeMarois), three great-grandchildren (Aiden, Blake, and Wyatt McLelland), and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Steven Edward.
Gerry was born on December 12, 1927, in Delray Beach, Florida, to William Edward and Mary Gertrude Crocker. He graduated from Lake Worth High School and entered the Air Force to serve during WWII. After the war, he graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in engineering. He served for 35 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, with distinction.
Gerry was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a faithful, humble, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will always be remembered as a man who loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind.
Visitation hours are planned for Friday, June 30, from 5:00-8:00PM, at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Lake Worth, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 1, at 11:00 AM, at Church by the Glades, Lake Worth campus, 127 S. "M" Street, Lake Worth, Florida, 33460. Following will be a graveside service and reception at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
