

Gloria died peacefully at home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL on September 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Gloria is survived by her sister’s, Dolores Chepens & Diana Pipes, her husband George La Verne Hudspeth and her 2 daughter‘s Genevieve Steel and Cyndi Napoleone, 2 grandchildren Christopher Napoleone & Luca Napoleone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Gloria is preceded in death by her mother Jean Chepens, and father Edward Chepens. Gloria Jean was born on August 15, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ed and Jean Chepens. She was the first of 3 children. Gloria Jean went to New York and enrolled in acting classes; her roommate was Sandy Duncan. Gloria was an extra in many television series as well as making many commercials. Gloria was the principal in the first hip hop movie that was made. Gloria Received her Bachelor’s Degree from Nova University in education and taught elementary school for Palm Beach County School Board. Gloria was an active and dedicated church member, and volunteered much of her time with youth Sunday School, teaching young people about the love of Jesus Christ. She was also the second reader at her church services. Gloria had two passions in life traveling and singing. She has traveled to every country in South America, Central America, Europe, China, Japan, Singapore, England, Russia, Scandinavian countries and most of the states In America. She loved Canada & the Caribbean Islands. An avid scuba diver who loved diving in Hawaii, Key West and off the different Caribbean Islands. There will be a celebration of Gloria’s life to be announced later.
