Tom is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved ones who preceded him: parents Alfred Wagner and Vera Wagner; sisters Henrietta and Harriett; brothers Jimmy, Lionel, and Denny.
He married the love of his life, Wanda Smith, in 1961; they shared more than 64 years of marriage and built a warm, faith-filled home.
Tom dedicated over 30 years of his career to Florida Power & Light Company, where he served as an executive manager with pride and commitment.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Smith Wagner; brother Gary (Pat); sisters-in-law Anna, and Prill; sons Horace Thomas Wagner Jr. (Linda), Cecil Charles Wagner (Wendy), Alfred Richard Wagner (Sandy), and Michael Joseph Wagner; six grandsons TJ(Shannon), Brandon (Danielle), Tyler (Brittany), Dylan (Libby), Cody, and Hunter (Megan); and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place on February 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at West Pines Baptist Church, located at 4906 Melaleuca Ln, Greenacres, FL 33463.
The Funeral Service will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.
The Committal Service is scheduled for 1:30 pm at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, situated at 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.

Though our hearts ache with the depth of our loss, Tom will be remembered for his deep love of family, strong work ethic, and readiness to always help and serve others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him and remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
