Jose “William” Luzuriaga age 81, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. Born on July 17, 1943, William was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth, strength, and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth “Mariana” Luzuriaga, and their three children: Yadira Amuial and her husband, Yossi Amuial; Jean Luzuriaga and his wife, Jocelyn Luzuriaga; and William Luzuriaga and his wife, Jennifer Luzuriaga.
William deeply loved his grandchildren Ylana Yojanny, Yoel,Serina, Jonmarcus, Kyla, Jonathan, Meghan and Samantha and his great-grandchildren Jose, Joshua, Attalie, Tyler, and Alivia.
He is also survived by his sister, Laura Poveda, and brothers Carlos Luzuriaga, Miguel Luzuriaga, and Ruben Luzuriaga. He was preceded in death by his brothers Marcos Luzuriaga, Roberto Luzuriaga, and Ricardo Luzuriaga.
William will be remembered for his deep love of family, his unwavering spirit, and the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
