passed away peacefully at her home in Delray Beach, FL with her family and friends by her side on July 22, 2013. She was 79 years old. Marion had been a resident of South Florida since 1987 having moved from Spring Valley, NY. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, singing, partying, and loved her family beyond words.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ciro LaBarbera; daughters, JoLynn LaBarbera, Lisa (Angelo) Alvira, and Debra Adametz; grandchildren, Michael Frank Acevedo, Jr., Stephanie Michelle Worman, and Jesse Marc Adametz; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Vivian Acevedo; brother, Albert Gallucci. She also leaves many friends that will miss her dearly.
The LaBarbera family will receive their friends from 10 AM until 11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM on Friday, July 26th at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312 and/or Vitas Hospice, 1901 S. Congress Ave, Suite #420, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
