

Nancy Louise Webster of Lake Worth, Florida crossed over the rainbow bridge on May 10, 2017 to be with her beloved parents and dogs. Her daughter Jody was with her playing her favorite Frank Sinatra songs. She had a long and interesting life working in insurance, retail and special education – in her 40’s she got involved with community bands and became an accomplished percussionist, resumed horseback riding in her 50’s and even took tap dance lessons (using a cane) in her late 70’s. She bred champion Cairn Terriers for over 35 years and was active in national and area dog clubs. Nancy enjoyed camping with her husband in their van/trailer and the cruises they took together. Nancy was born in Bethlehem, PA November 24, 1935 the daughter of Preston and Winifred (Beck) Smith. Graduated from Liberty High School (Bethlehem, PA) class of ’53, attended Lycoming College and Palm Beach State College. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, John H. Webster; brother, Donald Smith of Allentown, PA; daughters, Sheila Seidel of Newark, DE, Jody Kershner (Jeffrey) of Marietta, GA; son, David Webster (Tracy) of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Arculus (Andrew) and Bryan, Sean and Allison Kershner; and her stepchildren, John Webster, Jr., and Susan Laden. She will be remembered for her brilliant smile and laugh. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, June 4th at 12:30pm at Union Congregational Church, 5088 Summit Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to: The Music Scholarship Fund of the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches, Big Dog Ranch Rescue or Union Congregational Church.
