Rachel Spriggs Mitchell Lane 90, died May 14, 2012 in Florida. She was born June 09, 1921 at Franklin Furnace, Ohio, to the late Charley and Nano Bradley Spriggs. Her education was in Lewis County, living at Quincy, Kentucky until she was eighteen. She was a retired cosmetologist and owner of a beauty salon in Dayton, Ohio, for many years. Upon retirement she lived at Quincy and Fort Myers, Florida, prior to moving to LaBelle, FL. Rachel was a member of the Quincy Church of Christ and attended the First Christian Church in LaBelle, Florida. Survivors include two sisters; Magdalene Isaac, Quincy, and Mary Ginn, Vanceburg, and a Sister-In-Law, Eldene Spriggs, LaBelle, Florida; Several Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, David Mitchell and James Lane, six brothers; infant Andrew, Carl, Charles-WWII casualty, Joe, Arthur, and John Spriggs. Services at Rachel’s request will be held at a later date in July at Quincy, Kentucky, as announced by the family, with interment in the Sunset Cemetery, Quincy
