

Age 87 of West Palm Beach, FL passed away 7:40pm on October 27, 2015. She was born to John and Margaret (Peart) Procious on February 25, 1928 in Kittanning, PA and grew up in Ford City. Ruth loved to shop, text, email, and surf on the internet and did various puzzles such as Cryptograms, Sudoku, New York Times crosswords among others. Relentless, Understanding, Talkative, Happy was fiercely independent both mentally and physically. She was a fighter to the very end. She will be greatly missed by many for she was truly a unique individual. She is survived by: daughters and son, Kate David of Wesley Chapel, FL, John Thompson, Sr. of Ford City, PA, and Rebecca Claypoole of West Palm Beach, FL; nieces, Trish Mosley, Kelly Castoro, Kay Barnett, Kerry Costanza, Kim Costanza; nephew, Jim Burton; grandchildren, Thomas Thompson of Lexington, NC, Scott Lewis of Tampa, FL, Jeff Lewis of Kauai, Hawaii, John Jr., Alex, and Colleen Thompson of Ford City, PA; great grandchildren, Lance and Lorea Thompson of Lexington, NC. Ruth was preceded in death by: daughter, Roberta Thompson; and sisters, Esther Yanovich and Peggy Costanza. A graveside inurnment will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 21st at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2740 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
