Ruth L. Munn

Mrs. Ruth Laprade Munn went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023. She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother and wife. Ruth was born in Martinsville, VA on February 18th, 1938 to the late Willie and Lucy Bell Laprade.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ferro; her brothers, Robert and Cecil Laprade, and her sister, Karen Laprade. She is survived by her son, Clarence Hawks and his wife, Karen; her brother, Wayne (Shag); her sister, Hazel Glenn; several nieces and nephews; special caretakers Ray, Katrina and Chase Crickenberger and Regina Weber.

Ruth retired from the Palm Beach County Clerk of Court Office with 15 years of service. She was a long-time member of Belvedere Baptist Church and was very active in ministry. Ruth was in charge of the Pre-2–5-year-old) class of the Sunday School Department for 20 years. She served as Director of BBC’s Women on Mission and was Secretary/Treasurer of the Senior Adult ministry (The BelveDears).

A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Belvedere Baptist Church, 301 Cherry Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 301 Cherry Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
