Sirkka went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2013 at age 101 at the Finnish American Rest Home in Lake Worth, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a government employee for 37 years in Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include: grandsons, Curtis (Lynda) Nauert, Steven (Shawna) Nauert; granddaughter, Laurie (Chuck) Russell; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Nauert and son Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by her pastor, Norm Speier. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Acacia Park Cemetery in Chicago Illinois.
