Age 102, of Lake Worth, passed away on March 30th, 2011. She was born on February 2nd, 1909 in Loyal, Wisconsin, to John and Anna Elsinger. Veronica was predeceased by her husband of ten years, Alois Schmidt, her first husband of fifty years, Thomas Goode, nine siblings, one step-son and one step-grand child. She is survived by step-children; Thomas (Margaret), John (Cathy) and Kathryn (Bill); twelve step-grandchildren; twenty four step-great grandchildren; seven step-great great grandchildren; brother; Buster ( Shirley), sister Mary Ann (Paul) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Veronica was an active member of St. Luke Catholic Church for over forty years. She also belonged to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Counsel 2075 of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Sunday, April 6th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs on Monday, April 7th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
