

Age 87, of Lake Worth, FL passed away March 1, 2014. He was born in Willshire, Ohio on January 31, 1927 to Aaron Ridenour and Dovie Jane Mason. He was the second youngest of eight children. His early childhood years were spent on the farm. Bill enlisted in the Navy in December of 1944 and served for two years, during which time while on leave in Boston he met Jacqueline Anne Miceli and they were married in June of 1948. They started their life together in Dorchester, MA . He was a cabinet maker and contractor and owned Laundromats in the Boston area. In 1973 Bill decided to move his family to the sunshine of Lake Worth, Florida . There in south Florida he owned and operated the “Cue Room” and the Palm Springs Coin Laundry. Bill finally retired in 2004 to enjoy the sunshine, his family and crossword puzzles.
William is survived by his wife Jackie, son, William Matthew, daughters, Maryanne Webber (Bruce), and Nancy Maria Savitski (Bob); grandchildren: Kristina St. Pierre, Amy DeMartino, Emily Ridenour Dietrich, Aaron Robert and Mitchell William Savitski; great grandchildren Damien Michael “Alfonso”, Gabriel Anthony, Adrienne Olivia and Kyle William; many nieces, nephews and other family members. William was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Karen Elaine Millan in July of 2013.
Friends may visit from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 W. Lantana Road, Lantana, FL 33462. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
