

William Wesley Stone, 82, of Lake Worth, Florida, graduated into the Lord's presence on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in Kensett, Arkansas on January 11, 1931. First born son of the late Albert and Ethel Stone. Known as Wesley and Bill, it was during his Air Force years where he attained the nickname of "Rocky" which stuck with him as a term of endearment with those closest. He met the love of his life, Jean Tice, while stationed at Shepherd Air Force base in Wichita Falls, Texas. Married for 49 years, she predeceased him on April 1, 2001. Upon relocation to West Palm Beach in 1955, Mr. Stone became a member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach where he taught teenage boys1 Bible Study classes for a number of years. He loved the LORD and devoted much time to his own Bible reading and study. He is survived by Victoria Vasile (David) of Lake Worth; Alis Quinn, of Boca; Wesley Stone (Grace) of Windermere and Dawn Vasile (Michael Wieloszynski) of Winter Garden; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Gina, Noah, Izzy, Emma and Winter; brother, Grady Stone of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; two sisters, Thelma Hickisch of Decatur, Illinois and Laverne Carver of Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. His graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013, 10:00 AM, at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. A Going Home Celebration will be held at 12:00 noon, also on Friday, at the Florida Gardens Baptist Church, Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers donations to Worden Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 811, Bald Knob, Arkansas 72010 would be greatly appreciated.
