Cathleen (“Katy”) Erin Ross, age 51, of Lakewood, Colorado, died peacefully in the hospital on December 3, 2021. Born in Arvada, Colorado, Katy grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the oldest of three children. Growing up, she loved music, going to the beach, sailing, and traveling with her family. After graduating from Michigan State University, she returned to her Colorado roots with her former husband and father of her children, Matthew Stark.
In Colorado, Katy shared her two biggest gifts to the world, her son Michael William (“Will”) and her daughter Reagan Elizabeth. Will and Reagan were her purest joys and sustained Katy through the highs and lows of life. Through these creative, loving, and inspirational children, Katy will live on with each of us and we are all blessed to have them in our lives.
