Dolores Gonzalez

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Gilberto Colmenero; sisters, Maria Victoria Lopez, Maria Elena Gonzalez, Concepcion Gurrola; and brother, Julian Gonzalez, Jr. Dolores is survived by sisters, Cecilia Vasquez, Petra Hernandez, Rosa Maria Lopez, and Alicia Gonzalez. She was mother to Gilberto Colmenero, Rosa (Antonio) Diaz, Julian (Vanessa) Colmenero, and Sylvia (Miguel) Garcia. She was also grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 7 great, great-grandchildren. Dolores was so full of joy and she enjoyed sharing Jesus with everyone. She loved going to church to praise God, enjoyed being with family, singing, dancing, posing for photos, being outside looking at her flowers, and going shopping among many other things.

Dolores will have a viewing on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5-7PM at Advantage Runyan Stevenson. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10AM at the Salvation Army, 4505 W. Alameda Ave. Denver, CO 80219. Dolores will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. An additional celebration will be held following the cemetery service at Salvation Army. Please use the back entrance to access the reception hall.
