Flora Ione Dunn

Flora Ione Fotes Dunn passed away March 14th 2026 in her home. She was born March 6, 1936 in Casper, Wyoming, to John and Hope Fotes. She graduated from Douglas High School in Douglas, Wyoming. Flora married Donald Dunn, the LOVE of her life. Shortly after, they adopted a girl, Elaine in 1962. This made their family complete.

Flora worked hard her entire life. One of her earliest jobs was a candy striper in Denver, Colorado. Later, Flora worked for Casper Star Tribune in classified ads. She also worked for Wyoming Medical Center as supervisor in Insurance billing and medical records. Flora did finally retire in 2011, after working in the main office of Marcella Manor, where she also lived.

She enjoyed knitting, crewel work, and playing cards. Flo was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan. She always had said, please spread my ashes on the "50 yard line!!!!!". Family and friends took up the rest of her time.

Lisa (Joe) Konicek - niece

Kathy (Terry) Markos Fowler - cousin

Nick (Michelle) Markos - cousin

Flora Dunn was "AUNT FLO" to many nieces and nephews. She might have been Small in Stature, but Flo had a HUGE HEART.

There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE in the spring in Casper, Wyoming.

The family would absolutely LOVE anyone and everyone to share memories, photos, and stories about a beautiful soul.
