Idene Carrillo, born on November 19, 1961, to Steve Carrillo and Delores Flores, peacefully departed from this world on March 8, 2024. Idene was brought up alongside her sisters and brother in Denver, Colorado. She passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion.
Idene dedicated many years of her life to her craft as a hairdresser, serving the communities of Denver, Westminster, and Thornton. Her passion for her work shone through in every haircut, bringing joy and confidence to her countless clients.
Above all, Idene was a devoted mother to her son, Randolph. Randolph's fondest memories are of spending time with his mother, watching her skillfully crochet blankets and sew, a comforting rhythm that lulled him to sleep. Idene instilled in him the values of hard work and perseverance, qualities that have shaped Randolph into the successful business owner he is today.
Idene had a zest for life and a spirit of adventure. She loved to explore tropical destinations around the world, fearlessly embracing new experiences with an enthusiasm akin to that of an Apache warrior. Her adventurous nature inspired those around her to live life to the fullest.
Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds. Idene believed in the power of a warm embrace to heal the soul, always ready to offer comfort and support to those in need. She leaves behind a legacy of love and empathy that will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.
Idene is survived by her loving parents, devoted sisters, beloved son, Randolph, and her cherished grandchildren: Ana Maria, Nevaeh, Jimmy, Randolph Jr., Love, Yaretzi, and Maria. She is reunited in eternal peace with her brother, Steve, who preceded her in death.
Though she may no longer walk among us, Idene's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her memory will be cherished forever, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire generations to come.
May she rest in peace, forever remembered and deeply missed.
A visitation for Idene will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM both at Advantage Runyan Stevenson, 6425 W. Alameda Ave. Lakewood, CO 80226.
