I have such fond memories of my Auntie Irm.  She was a special aunt to my sisters Bev and Wendie and I.   She was fun loving, caring, cheerful and always had a smile on her face!  When we would visit her at the nursing home she was so excited to see us! She always asked about us and our families.  Family was so important to her.  At the end of our visits she always asked when we would be back to see her!   We don’t live in Denver so we couldn’t visit all the time, but we came as often as we could - every couple of months at least.  

One special memory I have of Auntie Irm was when my mom (Irm’s sister Clara Lou) would take me to downtown Denver for my orthodontist appointments when I was a kid, we often would visit Irm at work when she worked at the savings and loan downtown, and then go to lunch.  It was so much fun to see her and go to lunch!

I have many other memories of Auntie Irm and I will miss her very much.  Love you Auntie Irm and love to all of her family.   Love,  Marilyn 

Today we celebrated this incredible lady! I can’t thank her enough for what she has taught me! I have so many incredible memories too many too share! I have been blessed to call you my Grandma and will miss you! What I would do for one more hug or to hear that laugh one more time! You made life great! You were a beautiful soul! I love you PDO! I’ll miss those horns! 

Our Auntie Irm was our most favorite aunt!  We loved her so much!   She would always look forward to Wendie, Marilyn, and my visits - which we tried to do every 2 months or so, more recently every month.  She always had a smile for us and that special twinkle in her eye.  We would always bring her something- a chocolate shake, chocolate candy, homemade cookies, and once in a while a hamburger and fries - if it was lunchtime.   One special memory we will never forget is at Christmas- when she used to decorate her Christmas tree at home-  she collected so many ornaments over the years, and she’d put every single one on the tree!  We would tease her and say, “Gosh Auntie Irm, where o where is the tree?” ( ha!).  She would just giggle- and show us a bunch of them.   We will miss you so very much Auntie Irm, but we will forever keep you in our hearts!  Much Love and Blessings to all the Family,-💜💕 Bev 

Had a holiday celebration with Auntie IRM and Jayne a few years ago. We all enjoyed being together. Glad we captured the photo.  

Auntie IRM was so special!  We are very fortunate to have her as our aunt. She always cared about us and wanted to know what was going on in our lives. We’ll never forget her smile,  her unique and contagious laugh, her positive outlook on life,  and her many stories. 
She was simply the best, and we will miss her so much. Love you Auntie IRM!  May you rest in peace.

My beautiful Grandma Irma May. She was something else I tell you. One hell of a lady right here. I’m going to miss this cute face, walking into the nursing home and seeing her smile. I’m going to miss telling her all of the current stories and keeping her up to date. I know in my heart the special relationship and the similarities the two of us shared. I know she is not in pain anymore, and she’s in heaven with all of her loved ones that unfortunately also left us. She’s enjoying her coke and chips and cookies. She will always be in my heart, always in my memories. She was one of my best friends and it’s difficult without her here on this earth. We all benefited from Grandma. We all have these amazing memories and inside jokes with her. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. 


I’ll miss you Grandma.

Irma was my Mother in Law. She was a beautiful person inside and out! Irma  loved family gatherings and a good party!  Irma dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!  

I will especially miss Irma as she was the last Mother I had left as my own Mom passed years earlier!

Irma will always be my Mamma Irma ! She was so kind and loving to me as her daughter Jayne and I "Hung out" at her home.... she always greeted me with a smile on her face and a hug ! She will be greatly missed....  Mamma Irma, give my BFF Jayne a big hug for me up there in Heaven........
