Jean L. Kelly

Jean was born on November 11, 1948 to Lula and Eugene Fredericksen in Mitchell, South Dakota. She was the oldest of six children.

Jean lived in South Dakota for the first half of her life. She was in management at Sears for many years. She moved briefly to Minneapolis MN and then moved to Phoenix AZ where she met the love of her life Dale Kelly.

Jean and Dale moved to Thornton in 2003. She was a caregiver and office assistant for Home Instead Senior Care and made many friends. She could walk into a room and light it up. She comforted many people.

She was preceded in death by her son Bill Schillinger and her parents.

She is survived by her husband Dale Kelly of Thornton, Her daughter Melissa Halfmann and husband Tommy of San Angelo TX; Stepdaughter Nicole Kelly of Austin TX. Her grandchildren Ben Dickson of Rapid City SD, Natasha Perreira and husband Adam of San Angelo TX. Hope and TJ Halfmann of San Angelo TX. Great granddaughters Autumn and Summer Perreira of San Angelo TX. She lived her life for Jesus. She was a faithful member of the Westminster Christian Church in Westminster. We will all miss you more than you know. "Only God loves you more than I do".

There will be a celebration of Jean's life on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 at 1pm at the Westminster Christian Church located at 3575 W. 96th Ave., Westminster, CO.
