Marcel Peter Gautier

Marcel was born August 11, 1963 in Denver, CO. He passed away at home on May 28, 2023. Marcel was 59 years old.

He is survived by his brother Tony, sister in law Monica, nephew Anthony (Kristen) and nieces Jessica (Daniel) and Kendall. Marcel was preceded in death by his mother Margarethe and father Whitmore. He also had a number of close friends.

Marcel started his work life with McDonalds as a teenager, and quickly moved up to a management role. From there he went to work for Denver Health Medical Center, back then known as Denver General Hospital, and had a successful 32 year career with them until retiring in 2018.

Marcel was truly one of a kind. He was a gentle soul that loved music, nostalgia and spaghetti. He listened to all different types of music; the Mamas and the Papas were one of his first favorite groups. He also loved wringer washers, and even had an old antique machine! He was a fantastic friend, brother and uncle. He could talk for hours but the conversation was never boring. He was definitely opinionated, but would listen to others’ thoughts as well. He also loved going to the Cafe Ole coffee shop in Lakewood, CO and made many friends as a result of his visits to the shop.

Marcel will be deeply missed.
