

She grew up in Denver Colorado and at the young age of fourteen, worked as a Packer and Machinist at Nabisco Foods in 1942. She enjoyed bowling and competed in several bowling leagues.
She was a lifetime member and actively involved with the Women of the Moose Denver Chapter (754) and the Denver Moose Lodge (#21). She loved reading, watching the Denver Broncos, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Levy Romero; her parent's Nasario and Edith Marillo; Four brothers, John, Tony Cruz, Joe and Ernie Marillo; One sister Shirley Marillo; Her children Richard Marillo, Shirley and John Romero; Two grandchildren Arnold and Johnny Duran; Two great grandchildren Elizabeth Romero and Bryan DeHerrera.
Marguerite is survived by 9 children; Levy Danny, Christine (Jr) Duran, Robert (Denise) Romero, Yvonne (Gary) Romero-Fechner, Roxanne (Geno) Sandoval, Debra (Eric) Del Toro, Randolph (Irma Marie) Romero, Geralyn (Mark) Velasquez, Michelle Rael, and Jennie Marillo.
22 Grandchildren; Michelle Gonzales, Ricardo Marillo, Anthony Gonzales, Jerry and Tammilyn Romero, Joseph Duran, Danny Martinez, Gina Farina, Rocco and Tierra Romero, Carlos and Richard Barrera, Erica, Jessica and Vanessa Del Toro, Kimberly and Aaron Romero, Joshua and Marisa Velasquez, Ashley Arellano, Isaiah and Lexie Romero.

On Friday March 7, 2025, family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary at 10:00 am following a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Cajetan Church located at 299 S. Raleigh St., Denver, CO 80219.
Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery located at 12801 West 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge CO 80033.
The Reception will be held at the Lakewood Elks Lodge located at 1455 Newland St., Lakewood, CO 80214.
