Michael "Mike" Powers, 62, longtime resident of Lakewood, passed away November 1, 2014. Survived by his wife, Debra, and son, Alex. He was a Colorado native and a lifetime auto mechanic. He was known as "Professor Powers." Also survived by his brothers: Dennis, Chris, Kevin, and Sean. Preceded in death by his parents, james and Mary Ann Powers. Celebration of life, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Chapel, 6425 W. Alameda Ave., in Lakewood.
