Nicholas Miland Adrian Gonzales, born on September 21st, 2005, to Nick and Marcelina Gonzales, passed away in Colorado, where he was raised, on January 11th, 2025. With being the 8th out of 11 siblings, Nicholas' life was always full of love and support from his family, and they can fondly recall him providing them with the same in return. His uplifting spirit could have you laughing and smiling, even if you were mad at him the moment before. His laughter and energy were undeniable, and he could light up the room like no other. With Nicholas, you never knew what you'd be getting into; you just knew you were going to have a good time. Funny memories, such as the time where he attempted to flirt with a woman much older than himself while getting food, or when he was tackled by a girl while on the football field, will forever ring in his families' life, making them smile even on the darkest of days.
He had many things he enjoyed in this life, including playing basketball (at which he was very talented) smoking, and playing video games with his friends. Especially Robert, Darian, Abril, and Smokey. Along with these close friends, Nicholas leaves behind the many who love him, including his mom and dad, his stepmother, Brooke Gonzales, his loving grandmother and grandfather who raised him, his ten siblings Delilah, Angelo, Orlando, Narcisso, Selena, Tylena, Manuel, Juan, Demaryius, and Destiny, and so many other people whose lives he touched.
His passing has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew him. But even as we mourn, we are grateful for the time we shared with him and the love he so freely gave. Nicholas had a rare ability to make anyone feel like they mattered, offering kindness and humor in the most unexpected moments. He was a bright star that shined for far too short a time, but while his time with us was brief, Nicholas' legacy will live on in the laughter, joy, and love he shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May we all carry a piece of that energy forward in his honor.
