Alice Padden

Born in Cliffside Park, she was raised in Ridgefield Park and spent time in Hillsboro before settling in Lakewood 9 years ago.

Prior to retiring, she was a Senior Office Administrator at Merck Pharmaceutical Corporation in Somerville, where she worked for 28 years.

Alice was very creative and loved to paint. She was also an avid traveler, having visited Europe and the Bahamas a number of times.

She was predeceased by her parents: Edward & Helen Padden.

Surviving are her siblings: Edith Blackley and Michael J. Padden; 2 nephews: Matthew Blackley and his wife Cristina, and Mark Blackley; a grand-nephew: Matthew Blackley, Jr.; 2 grand-nieces: Gwyneth & Peyton Blackley; several cousins, and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood. Cremation will be private.
