Much loved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend. One of the Greatest Generation, a British WW2 war bride who left her loving family and beloved England at the age of 18 to marry the love of her life, her young American G.I. "Yank", John Peters of New York. They celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in Lakewood, NJ on June 1, 2019. She brought laughter and warmth wherever she went. Heartbroken children are Susan (Jeff) Burkes, Katie (Jeff) Cohan; grandchildren Michael Cohan, Lauren Cohan, Elizabeth Burkes Ohl, and Katie Rogala; and her adoring husband John. Services are pending.
