

Born in Colonia, he resided there until settling in Toms River 18 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was a Construction Expeditor for a large Home Improvement Company in Rahway. He enjoyed the ocean, fishing, hunting, doing construction projects, coaching his kids in baseball, riding his Harley, working on cars and most importantly his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Sylvia Horning; and by his brothers, Fred and Artie Horning.
Surviving is his loving wife of 47 years, Maureen; 3 sons: Bruce Horning, Jr., Dale Horning and his wife Michelle, and Jayson Horning and his wife Nicole; 6 grandchildren: Trevor, Amber, Tyler, Hunter, Kiera and Peyton; a brother Robert and his wife Patty; 2 sister: Joyce Parker and Carol Kolator; and 2 sister-in-laws, Lillian Horning and Ann Horning.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 4PM at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood.
