Charles was born December, 10, 1962 in Abington, PA, to Charles Anthony and Dorothy (Yaman) Stivali.
He attended Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls, New Jersey where he was a drummer and part of the percussion and drumline. An avid soccer and ultimate frisbee player during his youth, he played recreationally throughout his twenties. An amateur photographer, Charles had an eye for landscape scenery. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
After graduation he worked on the guidance systems for Singer Kearfott, then transitioned into working in the field of Information Technology throughout the remainder of his career. He was a recent employee of HCL America and very excited to continue working with his friends at BMS.
Charles’ love for his family included playing Santa Clause for his nieces and nephews and younger cousins each Christmas. He loved barbecuing, cooking, and using the food he grew from his garden. Two of his favorite indulgences were being a cigar aficionado while watching his favorite New York sports teams. He collected various humidors and had a large collection of cigars from around the world. His most favorite pastime, however, was being a dog owner. Charles adored dogs of all shapes and sizes, especially Dakota his Siberian Husky, who he has now joined in heaven. He will be remembered for his quick wit and passion for debating heated topics with those closest to him.
