Though most of his working career was in the field of demolition for Associated Wreckers in his home life he was a master woodworker and loved to build things. Any home he ever lived in is graced by his woodwork and other improvements.
A family man, he was a father figure to many in his extended family, and a devoted grandfather to his two grandsons, Sergio Gonzalez and Isaiah Hernandez.
In a life filled with many experiences, one that stands out is that he was part of the demo crew that took down the 1967 World's Fair.
He entered the church eternal on May 11th, 2025 and is survived by his three daughters; Stephanie, Amy and Karen, his son in law; Michael Hernandez, grandsons; Isaiah, and Sergio, his daughter in law; Pricilla, their two girls, Soleil and Analiese, his great grandson; Noah Gonzalez, and beloved nephew and niece in law; Steve and Marcia Turcina.
A memorial service will be planned for the future when the family can all be together. If anyone wishes to remember him, donations can be made in his name to the Veterans groups or the VFW.
