
Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Lakewood for the past 12 years with her husband Leonard. Concetta was was a communicant of St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick, NJ. She loved to knit and crochet and she had an amazing love for her family.
She was the mother of the late Leonard Zehnbauer, she is also predeceased by her parents and six brothers. Mrs. Zehnbauer is survived by her beloved husband Leonard; a daughter, Marge Himpele and her husband Arthur; a daughter-in-law Nancy and her husband Bernie Fitzpatrick, 9 grandchildren, Art Himpele and his wife Dana, Len Zehnbauer and his wife Mary, Mary Ann Guido, Mike Himpele and his wife Tracy, Mark Zehnbauer and his wife Donna, Terry Ultis and her husband David, Paul Zehnbauer and his wife Merry, David Zehnbauer and his wife Ginger and Connie Zehnbauer, 23 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Dominic’s Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ 08724.
Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, N. Arlington, NJ.
