Dale Copeland

Dale (nee Clement) Copeland, 77, passed away March 9, 2013 at her home in Lakewood, NJ. Mrs. Copeland was born in Brooklyn, raised in Garden City, Long Island, moving to Oldfield, Long Island for many years before settling in Lakewood for the past 5 years. She was a baton twirler at Garden City High School and attended LaSalle College. Dale loved painting, raising bull terriers and tending to her horses. Family was everything to Dale and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Copeland is predeceased by her parents Dotti and Oren Clement. Dale is survived by her four children, Dawn Marzarella and her husband Ray, Holly Mulligan, Brook Copeland and his wife Linda, and Laurel Ziviello and her husband Todd, eleven grandchildren, Heather Hanemann, Kristin Marzarella, Ray Marzarella, Fawn Hanemann, Matthew Marzarella, Hunter Hanemann, Courtney Cop eland, Brandon Copeland, Jack Mulligan, Morgan Ziviello and Kaitlin Ziviello, brother, Butch Clement, two nephews, Christopher Clement and Michael Clement and ex husband Charles Copeland. Friends may call Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 12-2 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
