Dolores Mary Pawlikowski, age 88, of Union, NJ, passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2018 at the Meridan Health Center in Brick, NJ. Dolores was born June 15, 1930 in Newark, NJ. She was a 57 year resident of Union, NJ until relocating to Ocean County in April of this year.
She received her Bachelors Degree from Seton Hall University in 1980. She began her career with Prudential Life Insurance in Newark, NJ as a secretary, and through her hard work and educational endeavors, she retired as an accountant.
Daughter of the late Mary (Breza) and James Pawlikowski, Dolores is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Joseph Pucci; her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Lisa, Christian and Steven Pucci, and Lisa, Leonardo, Marissa, and Antonio Berrocal; several cousins and many other close friends and relatives.
Visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Friday in the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Burial will be private at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
