Dominga Nieves

Dominga Nieves, 71, passed away June 9, 2014 at Bartley Healthcare Center in Jackson. Ms. Nieves was born in Puerto Rico, moving to New York City for many years before settling in Lakewood, NJ. She enjoyed cooking, singing and most importantly raising her loving family. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.

Ms. Nieves is predeceased by her sister Flora and brother Felix.

Dominga is survived by her seven children, Evelyn Guzman and her husband Reynaldo, Victor Guzman, Sonia Guzman, Migdalia Gonzalez and her husband Pedro, Veronica Figueroa and her husband Evan, Andre Figueroa and his wife Nina and Jasmin Nieves , 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and siblings, DaMaso Nieves, Tomasa Nieves, Maria Nieves, Juan Nieves, Santiago Nieves and Tono Nieves.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 2 to 9 pm and Friday, June 13, 2014 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Missionary Pentecostal Church, 155 E. 4th Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Graveside funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
