Eldora Veronica Saulnier, 81, passed away January 24, 2015 at her home in Lakewood. Mrs. Saulnier was born and raised in Brooklyn before moving to Staten Island and finally settling in Lakewood for the past 35 years. She worked for many years as a secretary for both the Credit Suisse and First Boston Financial Institutions. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Saulnier is predeceased by her son Michael J. Saulnier and two sisters, Joan Clarke and Peggy Jarrow. Eldora is survived by her son Louis Saulnier of Florida, brother, Michael J Downing and his wife Jean, Nieces, Kathleen Halbert and Elizabeth Clarke and nephew Robert S. Clarke and his wife Lauren. Arrangements are under the direction of the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1PM at the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
