

Born and raised in Bayonne, he also resided in Howell before settling in Toms River 17 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was a salesman for Metropolitan Life in NY, NY, where he worked for 30 years.
Edward was a Navy veteran, having served from 1944-1946 in World War II. He also obtained his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. He was involved in the Knights of Columbus in Bayonne, the Men’s Club in Lake Ridge, was an avid tennis player and was also a ballroom dancer. Edward was truly a people person.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Estelle Krips & Helen Johns; and a brother, Leonard Hern.
Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Alice; a daughter Lori Hrinewski, a son Edward F. Hrinewski, Jr. and his wife Theresa; 3 grandchildren: Marisa and her husband Bill Keenan, Michael Hrinewski and his wife Michelle, and Peter Hrinewski; 2 great-grandchildren: Charlotte Keenan and Chase Keenan; and 2 sister-in-laws: Diane Darnowski and her husband Ron and Dolores Kupiec and her husband Leo.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30AM at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood. Entombment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
